PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable rubber composition capable of giving, by the same method as that of molding a conventional rubber material and easily from the specific crosslinkable rubber composition, a monolayer-structure, surface conductive rubber material which has a small surface resistivity and has (semi)conductivity only on the surface, which has a high volume resistivity, or insulating property in the direction of the front and rear surfaces and which has as a rubber material sufficient physical properties (hardness, modulus, compression set, etc.), and capable of unnecessitating, as to the obtained rubber material, further processes corresponding to the conventional surface treatment and the like; and to provide a surface conductive rubber material having the above characteristics.;SOLUTION: The surface conductive rubber material is formed by crosslinking the crosslinkable rubber composition containing a crosslinkable rubber, an organized layered compound and a conductive filler, and has a surface resistivity of ≤106Ω and a volume resistivity of ≥1010Ωcm. The crosslinkable rubber composition for the surface conductive rubber material is provided which comprises (i) the crosslinkable rubber, 2.0-15.0 pts.wt. of the organized layered compound, 3.0-10.0 pts.wt. of the conductive filler, each based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber, and a crosslinking agent. The surface conductive rubber material obtained by crosslinking the composition is also provided. The above layered compound is preferably the one wherein a layered inorganic compound is subjected to organization treatment with an ammonium salt. The above crosslinking treatment is preferably the one wherein the crosslinkable rubber composition is subjected to a primary heating/vulcanization/molding followed by a secondary vulcanization.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
