PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously, efficiently and economically construct a multi-ground-forepiling support for widening a tunnel, which overhangs from an outer periphery of the existing tunnel; to surely bring about the stabilization of natural ground and the maintenance of the level of ground water in the construction of the support; and to stably ensure the stabilization of a face without loosening the natural ground.;SOLUTION: Cutters 14A/14B are protruded by being elongated in a tunnel crossing direction from inside the exiting tunnel 10, and moved in the axial direction of the tunnel, so as to slit-cut the natural ground and form slits 15A/15B; and lining is constructed in the slits 15A/15B. Thus, the multi-ground-forepiling supports 16A/16B for widening the tunnel, which continue in the axial direction of the tunnel by overhanging from the outer periphery of the existing tunnel 10, are constructed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
