PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rigidly joint an edge portion of an instrument penal reinforcement 11 at a vehicle body frame, facilitate its mounting at an execution surface, and absorb a shape error in a vehicle width direction in the instrument panel reinforcement structure.;SOLUTION: This instrument panel reinforcement structure is constituted of the instrument penal reinforcement 11, a mounting bracket 12 made of aluminum extrusion material fixed at both edge portions, and a bracket 13 on a vehicle body side jointed to the mounting bracket 12 with bolts. The extrusion direction of the mounting bracket 12 is the vehicle width direction, and the bracket is constituted of a pair of vertical wall type flanges 15, 16 which are weld-jointed with flanges 11a, 11b on the front and rear of the instrument penal reinforcement 11 and a wall type rib 17 which joints the flanges. The bracket 13 on the vehicle body side is constituted of a mounting portion 21 and a flange portion 22 in a step condition, and extension portions 15a, 16a of the mounting bracket are jointed to the vertical wall type flanges 22a, 22b of the flange portion 22 with bolts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
