PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing method in which a belt member is not damaged by impact such as during transportation when the belt member used for an electrophotographic apparatus is packed, to provide the packing method especially preventing the occurrence of a kink in an electrophotographic photoreceptor in which a base body is a nickel seamless belt or a fixing belt and furthermore to provide the packing method in which the belt member is not damaged when the belt member is taken out from a packed state. PSOLUTION: The belt member is held by allowing a belt member damage prevention body to abut on an inner periphery surface of the belt member by inserting the balloon like prevention body inside the belt member for the electrophotographic apparatus, expanding the prevention body by injecting gas inside the prevention body and enlarging the diameter. Furthermore, a hollow cylinder formed of a flexible sheet is inserted inside the seamless photoreceptor belt or the fixing belt, a magnetic piece is attached inside the hollow cylinder and the belt is fixed to the hollow cylinder with the magnetic force.
