PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly diagnose whether or not a plurality of hot water supply pipes are properly connected to a plurality of hot water outlet passages of a hot and cold water mixing unit, without actually operating a hot water supply system.;SOLUTION: This method diagnoses whether or not the plurality of hot water supply pipes 60A to 60D are properly connected to the plurality of hot water outlet passages R1 to R4 of the hot and cold water mixing unit 2 of the hot water supply system A; and comprises a step of individually opening one by one of tip plugs 6A to 6D of the hot water supply pipes 60A to 60D, a step of determining the corresponding relationship between the plurality of hot water outlet passages R1 to R4 and a plurality of hot water supply faucets by authorizing that the hot water outlet passage of detecting a water flow by water flow detecting means 73A to 73D corresponds to the hot water supply faucet of opening the tip plug among the plurality of hot water outlet passages R1 to R4 in a process of performing the step, and a step of determining availability of the connection of the plurality of hot water supply pipes by determining whether or not the content of the corresponding relationship determined by the step is proper on the basis of availability determining data prepared separately.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
