PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide impact absorbing catch net for rock fall prevention.;SOLUTION: Two holding ropes 3, 4 are movably held by individual support bodies 7, 8, 9, 10 in their longitudinal direction and tensioned at the side. At least one or more running ropes 37, 38, 39, 40; 47, 48, 49, 50 or the like extending parallel with the support body on each of the holding ropes 3, 4 preferably within the areas of the respective support bodies 7, 8, 9, 10 are fixed with one end on one side and with the other end on the other side to the support bodies 7, 8, 9, 10.
