PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficiently performable feed, discharge, and cleaning of a liquid to be measured to a cell by discharging the liquid to be measured in a measurement cell and then feed cleaning liquid in the cell.;SOLUTION: A liquid to be measured is injected from a measurement liquid feed port 3 and after the injection, a cylinder 4 is slid and stopped at a position (return). A cylinder 1 is lowered to start measurement. After the measurement, the liquid to be measured from the measurement liquid feed port 3 to the measurement part is discharged. Then, cleaning liquid pressurized by air is made to flow from a cleaning liquid jet port 5, cleans an area from the measurement liquid feed port 3 to the measurement part, and the cleaning liquid is discharged to a waste liquid tank. After cleaning, all the residual liquid is discharged by air blow, the cylinder 1 is raised, and the cylinder 4 in the position (return) is slid to return to its original point of the position (ejection). This constitution can prevent fine mixing of a foreign component so as to alternately measure every liquid to be measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
