PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor electrode member where low ESR (equivalent series resistance) and high capacity are achieved.;SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor electrode member is provided with aluminum 1, and a carbon content layer 2 formed on a surface of aluminum 1, and is also provided with an intervening layer which is formed between aluminum 1 and the carbon content layer 2 and comprises aluminum elements and carbon elements. The intervening layer constitutes a first surface part which is formed in at least a partial region on the surface of aluminum 1 and comprises carbide of aluminum. The carbon content layer 2 constitutes a second surface part 21 formed to extend from the first surface layer 3 to an external side. The carbon content layer 2 comprises carbon particles 22, and the second surface part 21 is formed between the first surface part 3 and the carbon particles 22 and comprises carbide of aluminum.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
