PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce the developing time of printing data to an image memory by performing efficient parallel plotting processing to a plurality of plotting instructions. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with a plurality of plotting processing parts 15a to 15d for plotting instructions described for each plotting object in the image memory 16 and a plotting area control part 14. In the case of plotting an overwriting object corresponding to a second plotting instruction on at least a part of a rough-outline object corresponding to a first plotting instruction, the plotting area control part 14 detects the overlapped area of the rough-outline object and the overwriting object and controls the parts 15a to 15d processing the first plotting instruction to plot the rough outline object except the plotting area after plotting the detected overlapped area.
