DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES

This device is designed to carry persons with temporary or permanent physical disabilities in mountainous areas that are inaccessible to vehicles and wheelchairs. It consists of a frame (1), which isa welded structure of rectangular sections, to which following items are fitted: backrest (17), armrests (18) headrest (19), footrests (20) and rear fork (7), through bolts, removable shoulder (3), which carries a wheel (4), shock absorber (5) and braking unit (10) actuated by the right handle (8) placed in its front edge by means of a plain bearing. The front fork (6) is inserted in the front section of the frame (1) and locked by a split pin and the rear fork (7) is moveably fixed by bolts and fixing device (12), controlled by the left handle (13).
