Improvement in the metatarsal protector for footwear professionals. The invention relates to a protector of metatarsus applicable in shoes or boots safety employed in cutting sugar cane or other activities where the worker runs the risk of being cut on his foot.The protector of metatarsus improved comprises a laminar body (1) in which are distributed at least three segments of metal filament (2). The segments of metal filament (2) are partially or fully embedded into the laminar body (1). Preferably, the metal filament (2) are arranged substantially in parallel and in the longitudinal direction of the foot.Optionally, the metal filament (2) may be segments of steel cable. Preferably, the external surface of the laminar body (1) can be nervuramentos reinforcement (3), and a peripheral edge (4) with a greater thickness. Alternatively, the laminar body protector metatarsus may submit, in replacement of segments of metal filaments, a steel mesh internal.
