General-purpose composition for enhancing stamina, prevention, prophylaxis and therapy of Lyme borreliosis for human and veterinary application, process for preparing such composition and its use

In the present invention, there is disclosed a general-purpose composition for enhancing stamina, prevention, prophylaxis and therapy of Lyme borreliosis for human and veterinary application wherein the invented composition is formed based on whole-cell bacterins or bacterial lysates or purified bacteria in liquid form or as lyophilizate of all three most pathogenic genomospecies of borrelias (Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto, Borrelia afzelii and Borrelia garinii) and optionally other genomospecies of pathogenic borrelias, whereby each of the used borrelia genomospecies comprises simultaneously both immunogenic protective proteins of outer membrane OspA and OspC, optionally it also comprises other immunogenic protective proteins of outer membrane, and further the invented composition comprises a whole-cell bacterin or a bacterial lysate or purified bacteria in liquid or lyophilized form of a selected immunomodulating strain Propionibacterium acnes. The composition is in the form suitable for intramuscular, subcutaneous, transcutaneous, oral or cutaneous application to induce active protective immunity against natural infection through the mediation of infected ticks characterized by all three most pathogenic genomospecies Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto, Borrelia afzelii and Borrelia garinii and because of cross immunity principle against optionally other known genomospecies of borrelias. The composition can be satisfactorily applied without territorial restrictions. The use of the composition orally eliminates inducement of undesired immunopathological processes. In the present invention, there is also disclosed a process for preparing the above-described composition as well as its use.
