The invention relates to new derivatives of tomaimycin containing a linker. The invention also relates to conjugate molecules that contain one or more of these derivatives of tomaimycin, covalently linked to an agent that binds to the cell, by means of a crosslinking group present on the linker of the derivative of the compound tomaimycin. The invention also relates to the preparation of derivatives of tomaymycin compounds and conjugate molecules.
