The invention refers to the food industry, namely to an installation for concentration of liquid foodstuffs by freezing.The installation, according to the invention, includes a capacity (1), inside which it is placed a work member (2), connected by means of refrigerant coolant delivery (10) and discharge (11) branches to a refrigerating system. At the same time, the work member (2) consists of a chamber (3) in the form of reverse truncated cone with corrugated or ribbed inner surface (9) of the walls. Inside the chamber (3) it is coaxially placed a pipe (4), into the walls of which there are made channels (8), as well as an annular collector (5) with clearance (6) in the lower part, connected to the refrigerant coolant delivery branch (10) and placed in the upper part of the chamber (3) with the possibility of delivering the refrigerant coolant on the inner surface (9) of the walls of the chamber (3), and the pipe (4) is placed inside the chamber (3) with clearance.
