The combination (1) has a trailer (3) including a drawbar (5) with a shaft fitted at front end of the trailer and connected to a towing motor vehicle (2) e.g. tractor, where the trailer includes steerable wheel pairs (7). An optical or electromagnetic sensor measures an instantaneous angle between the tractor and the trailer, where the wheels of the trailer are controlled based on the measured angle. An independent claim is also included for a method for operation of a combination of towing motor vehicle and trailer.
