A method for diagnosing the functional state of the liver in the patients with ischemic heart disease and atrial fibrillation in the setting of long-term use of Amiodaron provides for assay of the blood enzymes (alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamyl transferase), the markers of the lipid peroxidation (malonic aldehyde and diene conjugates), and the parameters indicating the state of the antioxidant protection (ceruloplasmin activity and iron saturation of transferrin).
