A method for detection of Babesia canis in biological samples by means of polymerase chain reaction comprises the PCR, preparing of buffer, amplification, detection of amplified DNA. The chromosomal gene 18S rRNA is used, consisting of such sequences of primer pairs:S18-R 5-caatcctgacacagggaggt,S16-L 5-ccgtcaacgcaaaaatacaa,S18-Rin 5-gcaacaagtttaatatacgctattgg,S18-Lin 5-gaatgatggtgacccaaacc, for detection of DNA of Babesia canis.
