A method for treatment of craniocereberal and spinal hernias by means of preoperational ultrasonic examination of the hernial bag is a method for treatment of craniocereberal and spinal hernias. Prior to planning of operative intervention the ultrasonic research of content and components of hernial bag is carried out, thus, on preoperational stage the size of skull defect or spinal canal is determined, availability in the hernial bag of structures of head or spinal cord, availability of fixing of nervous structures in hernial gate is found out, further a type and size of operative intervention is established, as well as type and required amount of plastic material for plastics of skull defect or spinal canal.
