The invention relates to new chemical substances, namely to solid solution of nickel (II)-cobalt (II)-zinc (II) pyrophosphate of general formula NiCoCu(PO), where =1.0-2.0, =1.0-2.0, +3. The process for the preparation of the stated compound is carried out by heating of amorphous triple nickel (II)-cobalt (II)-cuprum (II) aquaaminopyrophosphate to temperature of 680-700 °.
