The invention relates to area of solid state physics, in particular to methods for investigation of phase transitions in solid bodies, and can be used as effective and reliable method for determination of change of inputs of structural and temperature order-disorder transformation to Urbach energy of solid crystalline body at phase transition of first kind. Method for determination of change of inputs of structural and temperature order-disorder transformation to Urbach energy of solid crystalline body at phase transition of first kind is characterized by fact that one uses results of temperature investigations of edge of optical absorption of solid bodies with representation of Urbach energy as sum of inputs of temperature and structural kind of ordering. To determine change of inputs of those at phase transition of first kind one uses experimental value of change of Urbach energy at phase transition of first kind and parameters that describe temperature dependences of Urbach energy in low-temperature and high-temperature phases. Technical result of the invention is in increase of reliability and effectiveness of determination of change of inputs of structural and temperature order-disorder transformation to Urbach energy of solid body at phase transition of first kind.
