Device for pressing flat printed products, especially folded printed products, comprises a pressing roller (30) of a pressing roller pair which is moved by a pressing roller (26) via a mechanism (50). Preferred Features: The pressing roller pair has pressing rollers (26, 30, 38, 42), in which the upper pressing rollers (30, 42) are lifting by the lower pressing rollers (26, 38). The device has a drive (14) which is structured so that the pressing rollers are driven when the rollers are moved away and when they lie next to each other. The drive has drive belts which are guided around pivoting pins of a pivoting lever.
