Cereal-based food preparation in the form of a bar containing, in weight percentages based on the total weight of the bar, an amount of lipids not exceeding 18% and an amount of monosaccharides and disaccharides not exceeding 33%, and which also contains 0.20-0.40% of vitamin C, 0.10-0.20% of vitamin E and 0.10-0.20% of catechins, in which said catechins consist of an extract of purified green tea, and at least one ingredient selected among cocoa beans in pieces and dried cranberry in amounts of 3 to 9% and 5 to 15%, respectively.
