The invention relates to a an anti-slip stud for a vehicle tyre, comprising a sheath (1) with its long dimension along an axis (X‑X1), having a base (4) for embedding in the tyre and, at the other end from the base (4), a head (3) from which there projects a core or pin (2) made of very hard material and crimped in a blind axial bore (5) of matching shape. According to the invention, the sheath (1) has near the base (4) a low part (6) of rounded shape having in right axial section a convex profile, whose rounded low part (6) is continued towards the head (3) by a part (7) of frustoconical shape converging towards the base.
