The present invention relates to a method and system for providing advertising in which the bid price per unit time is adjusted in accordance with advertising traffic. The method for providing advertising comprises the steps of: establishing the bid price per unit time on the basis of advertising traffic and the average bid price input by advertisers; and establishing the charge for the advertisers' advertisements on the basis of the bid price per unit time.
