The invention relates to a method for protecting the entirety or a portion of an electronic device against physical attacks against said device using a portion or the entirety of the energy generated by the attack in order to generate at least one so-called counterattack action. The method is particularly adapted for attacks against electronic devices when they are not supplied with power, or when the protection of the device should not be dependent on the general power supply thereof. The invention also relates to a device for implementing such a method.
