A method and a module for intelligently joining a conference in multimedia conference service, the method includes: recording access codes of conference members in a database when creating a conference; matching a conference access code dialed by a user with the access code of the conference members in the database when the user joining the conference, to identify the user whether belongs to the members of the conference, and if the user does not belong to the members of the conference, notifying the user to join the conference by inputting a conference identifier and a conference password; if the user belongs to the members of the certain conference, then adding the user into one of the conferences which the user belongs to; or informing the user with information of the conference which the user belongs to, and the user selecting one of the conferences which the user belongs to and joining the conference.
