PURPOSE: A multimedia conference control apparatus and a method thereof are provided to offer a customized multimedia service by the participant environment. CONSTITUTION: A participation mode state table storing unit(210) stores the participation mode state table which show the conference participation state of a conference terminal user. A participation mode mapping table storing unit(220) stores the participation mode mapping table which maps the multimedia type by the conference participation state. A participation mode administration unit(200) establishes the participation mode and session about the conference terminal with reference to a participation mode state table and a participation mode mapping table. The participation mode managing unit controls a multimedia supply apparatus in order to set a multimedia type.
