A method for mixing liquids (5a, 5b) that are mutually immiscible, said method including steps of contacting the liquids together and agitating said liquids in order to obtain a substantially homogenous and temporarily stable mixture, the liquids being agitated by submerging a bevelled nozzle (32b, 43) of a capillary tube (30b, 40) in the vicinity of a contact area between the liquids, and by vibrating the capillary tube. The invention can particularly be used for the nebulisation of liquids in the air, also using a vibrating capillary tube.
