The invention relates to a novel teaching device based on Pythagoras' theorem, for use in the field of teaching equipment, which enables students at upper-intermediate and upper levels to work implicitly with Pythagoras' theorem, since the teaching device demonstrates said theorem arithmetically, geometrically and algebraically. Similarly, it can be used to introduce students at secondary and upper-intermediate levels to the topic of trigonometric functions. Furthermore, the invention provides the user with a teaching tool which can be used to devise and perform additional activities with students and to incorporate such activities into any study level, as appropriate.
