MALEIC ANHYDRIDE-MODIFIED POLYPROPYLENE AND RESIN COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME

Disclosed is maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene wherein the quantity of grafted maleic anhydride is 1.8-2.5 mass% and the melt flow rate (MFR) is greater than 500 g/10 minutes and no more than 800 g/10 minutes, and a filler-reinforced polyolefin resin composition which contains said maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene and has raised mechanical strength and durability due to improved interfacial adhesion with the filler. Said maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene offers the effects that even when added in a small quantity the maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene has a considerable effect in improving polyolefins containing a filler, and there is little soiling with volatile organic constituents.
