The content recommending device (300), which recommends recommended content to a user, is provided with: a recommended content determining unit (330) for determining, as the recommended content, second content related to first content which had been at least partially viewed by the user; and a recommendation timing determining unit (350) for determining the recommendation timing for presenting the information of the recommended content, based on the temporal relationship of the recommended content to third content related to the recommended content and able to be viewed now or in the future.
