摘要

The inventions relate to controlling the movement of flight vehicles and are directed, in particular, at launching flight vehicles into space, at enabling flight in the Earth's atmosphere and also at moving other vehicles. According to the method, the lifting (propulsive) force is produced by accelerating a liquid in radial channels (8) that are made in a rotating body (3) and that are curved in a direction opposite to the direction of the expected lifting force. In one of the variants, the propulsion device for carrying out the above method comprises a housing (1) and a rotor (3) mounted therein on supports (2). Windows (6) for the passage of a liquid are provided in the lower part of the rotor. An impeller (7) for sucking the liquid into the inner cavity of the rotor (3) is arranged above the windows (6). As the rotor (3) rotates, the liquid flows out of said cavity via channels (8). The channels (8) have nozzles (9) at the ends thereof. The rotor (3) is driven by an engine (10).
