A saddle-shaped battery mounted on the rear carrier of an electric bicycle is provided. One end of the battery is equipped with a power supply connecting jack. The battery is inverted-concave in shape and can be inserted into a space below the rear carrier of the bicycle between the two legs. The opening of the concavity is wider than the wheel. A movable connecting element connects the battery with the rear carrier.
