Method for feature selection of images in an image data base

The method involves determining characteristic features of reference images. Digital images are analyzed using Scale invariant feature transform (SIFT)image analysis algorithm, where a database is automatically processed during an analytical process. The analyzed images and the characteristic features of the analyzed images are stored as reference images in the database using the analytical process. An independent claim is included for a method for analyzing a digital image.
