The method involves detecting additional products using an enlarged guiding system (33). Data for processing the additional products is input to the guiding system. The additional products are manually or automatically supplied to a commissioning unit (8) e.g. box. The commissioning unit is loaded manually or by an automatic packet distributor (13). A commissioning instruction is produced for the additional products by the guiding system, based on imported data. A delivery order and an electronic indicator for containing and/or reproducing the instruction are produced. An independent claim is also included for a system for commissioning printed products with additional products.
