PURPOSE: A method for managing binding information for a bundle installed remotely in an OSGi(Open Service Gateway initiative) service platform and an apparatus thereof are provided to discriminate controllers which have to notify the change of life cycle of bundles installed in an OSGi framework.;CONSTITUTION: A service event for informing that a predetermined service provided in a bundle is registered in an OSGi service registry is generated. Through the service, binding information for mapping the bundle to a control device is generated. By using the generated binding information, an event about the change of lifecycle of the bundle is notified to the control device.
