The present invention provides a backlight comprising a transparent substrate, a prism portion having a plurality of acid portions disposed on the substrate and having a triangular cross-sectional shape arranged in parallel, and an adhesive layer disposed under the substrate, the backlight being integrated with the light guide plate by the adhesive layer. By providing a prism sheet for a unit and a backlight unit using the same, it is possible to improve luminance and improve productivity at the same time while improving luminance in a liquid crystal display device.
