An air conditioning apparatus for a bus is provided to place a magnetic material in a damping means to securely shield an air flow path according to the damping means even when the bus runs. An air conditioning apparatus for a bus includes a case(100), a duct, an evaporator(400), a ventilation fan, a partitioning plate(170), and a damping means(600). The duct forms a flow path of external air flowing into the case and provides a space for mounting a condenser(200). The evaporator exchanges heat of the air flowing into the case with a refrigerant. The ventilation fan discharges air cooled according to the evaporator through an indoor outlet. The partitioning plate separates the duct and the evaporator from each other and has an air flow hole formed at one side thereof. The damping means selectively shield the air flow hole and the indoor outlet to control an external air flow path.
