PURPOSE: An error detecting device of an electronic control unit connector pin of a vehicle is provided to detect error of the connector pin regardless of the state of the connector and the surrounding environment. CONSTITUTION: An error detecting device of an electronic control unit connector pin of a vehicle comprises an ECU, a laser unit(13), and a controller(15). The ECU has a plurality of connect pins(11). The laser unit has a transmission unit and a receiver about the laser beam. The laser unit injects the laser beam inside each connect pin of ECU. The laser unit receives a message the laser beam reflected to the pin inside and outside. The controller judges the intensity of the laser beam reflected to outside and the error of the inner circumference of the pin.
