STEERING SYSTEM AND A METHOD THEREOF, FOR EXECUTING THE FUNCTION OF A TORQUE SENSOR WITH A DIFFERENT SENSOR IF A STEERING SYSTEM IS NORMALLY OPERATED WHEN A TORQUE SENSOR IS OUT OF ORDER
PURPOSE: A steering system and a method thereof are provided to minimize the steering of a steering system by executing the function of a torque sensor with a first sensor and a second sensor if a steering system is normally operated when a torque sensor is out of order.;CONSTITUTION: A steering system(100) is composed of a first sensor(110), a second sensor(120), and a steering controller(130). The first sensor generates a first signal by recognizing the torsion of one side of a torsion bar(140). The second sensor generates a second signal by recognizing the torsion of the other side of the torsion bar. The steering controller controls the steering by using the calculated difference after calculating the difference between the first signal and the second signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
