PURPOSE: An exhaust efficiency optimizing control system is provided to electrically and accurately detect the pressure of a section of a chimney by installing an orifice meter inside a chimney. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust efficiency optimizing control system comprises a damper(M2), a sensor, orifice meters(P1,P2,Pn), and a MICOM(C). The damper opens and closes a path of an external air guide duct(4) and a ventilation machine(3). The sensor senses the inner pressure of a chimney(1). The orifice meter detects the pressure at the center of a chimney. If the pressure at the lower part of a chimney is smaller than a top set value, the MICOM blocks power supplied to the fan motor(M1) of the ventilation machine. If the upper pressure of a chimney is greater than preset value and the differential pressure measured in an orifice is maintained over preset pressure, the MICOM supplies power to the fan motor and operates the ventilation machine.
