COMPOSITION CONTAINING NON-TOXIC CAESALPINIA SAPPAN L. EXTRACT FOR REGENERATING EPITHELIAL CELLS

PURPOSE: A composition containing Caesalpinia sappan L. extract is provided to regenerate high quality of epithelial cells without cytotoxicity.;CONSTITUTION: A composition for regenerating epithelial cells contains Caesalpinia sappan L. extract as an active ingredient. The Caesalpinia sappan L. extract is hexane extract, ethyl acetate extract or water fraction extract of Caesalpinia sappan L. A method for producing the composition comprises: a step of adding water to Caesalpinia sappan L. at 0.3 kg/cm^2-0.5 kg/cm^2 and 85-120°C or adding organic solvent to extract; a step of filtering extracted solution; and a step of concentrating and drying the filtered solution. The organic solvent is hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol, or methanol. The composition is pharmaceutical composition, skin cleansing composition or cosmetic composition.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
