PURPOSE: A system for analyzing a patent trend using technology classification is provided to classify the technology of patent documents by using a reliable technology classification method. CONSTITUTION: A technology categorization part supplies technology classification tree stored in a technology classification database to a user terminal. The technology classification database stores a common search for technology classification and a keyword extracted from a patent documents. A searcher(120) uses the common search method and an individual search method and searches the patent database. A technology trend analysis part(140) receives a search result data and analysis the patent trend.
