PURPOSE: A device and a method for evaluating properties of a heat accumulator are provided to easily evaluate heat storage and heat radiation properties of a thermal mass. CONSTITUTION: A device for evaluating properties of a heat accumulator comprises a heat accumulator(1), a measuring unit(200), a pre-heating unit(100), and a computer(9). The heat accumulator stores and emits heat. The measuring unit is composed of a temperature sensor(8) and a pressure sensor(10). The computer analyzes and monitors the measured temperature and pressure. The pre-heating unit is connected to the heat accumulator, and pre-heats waste heat.
