PURPOSE: An automatic input method for transforming mode through the input pattern recognition of the touch pad. The current input mode is recognized automatically based on the touch input pattern of user. Keyboard and mouse input functions are used through one touch pad.;CONSTITUTION: The touch signal in which the coordinate information is included is received from the touch pad(ST10). The touch input pattern is analyzed from the touch signal(ST20). In case the touch input pattern is the click pattern, the touch signal is processed as the keyboard input mode(ST40). In case the touch input pattern is the drag pattern, the touch signal is processed as the mouse input mode(ST60).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
