MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CRYSTALLIZED PRAVASTATIN SODIUM SALT PURIFYING IMPURE NON-CRYSTALLIZED PRAVASTATIN SODIUM SALT

摘要

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of crystallized pravastatin sodium salt is provided to mass produce the crystallized pravastatin sodium salt using ethanol and acetone solvent. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of crystallized pravastatin sodium salt comprises the following steps: dissolving impure non-crystallized pravastatin sodium salt in a mixture of purified water and low-class carbon alcohol with 1~4 carbon atoms; decolorizing the solution from the previous step using activated charcoal; filtering the decolorized solution with diatomite and crystallizing impurities by adding the filtered solution into acetone; putting the solution filtered with the crystallized impurities into the acetone again to crystallize the pure pravastatin sodium sa and cooling the solution at 0~25 deg C to obtain the white crystallized pravastatin sodium salt.
