PURPOSE: An apparatus of controlling luminance precisely according to ambient luminance are provided to control the luminance of an LED board by using a data related to peripheral conditions to control the luminance of the board.;CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus of controlling luminance precisely according to ambient luminance, a measured value reads from a CdS sensor(S10). The average of the measured value excepting the maximum value and the minimum value is calculated(S20). The measured mean value is compared with the mean value which is measured at the previous time. If the measured mean value is changed over a reference level, the mean value is set as a correction target value of the display panel(S30-S40).
