SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL IN FEMTO CELL SERVICE ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal authentication method in a femto cell service environment and a system for the same are provided to manage the utilization permission of a user of a femto cell AP(Access Point) by supplying a femto cell service to only subscribers with access permissions. CONSTITUTION: A femto cell management server(700) authenticates femto cell connection of each mobile terminal based on intrinsic IDs. A femto cell base station(140) receives an access request messages from each mobile terminal. The femto cell base station checks whether terminal identification numbers included in the access request messages are the intrinsic IDS or not. If the terminal identification numbers are temporary identification numbers, the femto cell base station transmit the intrinsic identification numbers in order to receive the authentication result of each mobile terminal.
