PURPOSE: A composite U-beam and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce the weight of the beam, and to secure structural strength of the beam.;CONSTITUTION: A composite U-beam(100) comprises a reinforced concrete beam(110) and steel beams(120). A block-out part is formed in the reinforced concrete beam so that the center of the top of the reinforced concrete beam is opened.
