PURPOSE: An actuator for an active geometry controlled suspension is provided to drive with less friction force due to the operation a power transmission by installing a ball screw.;CONSTITUTION: An actuator for an active geometry controlled suspension comprises: a housing(10); a driving motor(20) which is installed to the housing; a ball screw(30) which rotates with the driving shaft(21) of the driving motor; a power transmission(40) which is installed to the housing in order to be able to slide with installing a ball bearing(31) to the ball screw and transfers down force to an assist arm; and a clamping member(50) which selectively limits the operation of the sliding of the power transmission if a driving signal is not transferred to the driving motor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
